Therapy with me is: Respectful and judgment-free. I honor your experiences and make space for you to show up exactly as you are.
Outside of the therapy room: I'm a big believer that laughter is part of healing.
Are you running on empty? Maybe you're coming home from work drained, questioning your job or your relationships, and feeling stuck in a cycle of endless stress and worry. It's easy to get caught up in constant pressure and exhaustion, especially in New York. Over time, that kind of stress can damage your mood, your relationships, and how you see yourself. Suddenly, you're waking up feeling unsure who you are or what you want anymore. And maybe you’ve never had the space to discover who that person is.
I support LGBTQIA+ and women-identifying clients navigating self-doubt, stress, and burnout. Together, we can help you reconnect with yourself and all the parts of you, repair harm from endless stress and unresolved pain, and learn skills to get you grounded. We’ll create a space where growth feels safe but stretches you toward more fulfillment and peace.
My approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based, tailored to your unique experiences, identity, and goals. I draw from various therapeutic perspectives to help you break free from harmful narratives, gain clarity, heal emotional wounds, and improve communication. I also make space for humor and levity, because I believe laughter is essential for healing.
Struggling with relationships and self-acceptance can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help you feel safe, confident, and at home in your relationships, your body, and your mind. Let’s work together to help you build a more fulfilling, vibrant life!
Maggie’s approach:
I utilize elements of Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy, and Mindfulness to help you understand and build compassion for all the different parts of yourself, challenge and understand negative beliefs you. might hold, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and connected with yourself. Some of the specific topics we might cover are:
Understanding and redefining harm from your past
Developing coping skills to help ground you in difficult moments
Quieting a restless mind
Strengthening your mind and body connection
Accepting and connecting with yourself as you are, for who you are, and all that you're made of
Maggie is an in network provider with Aetna, BCBS, Carelon, and Cigna. She is an approved out of network provider for all other commercial healthcare plans.
