Kathryn Warner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Chief Clinical Officer

Kathryn Werner

LCSW-R, SIFI, and CHIEF Clinical OFFICER:

Therapy with me is:

Respectful and nonjudgmental. I honor your experiences and make space for you to show up exactly as you are.

Outside of the therapy room:

I recharge by spending time with my loved ones.

“I don’t even know who I am anymore.”

You’re trying to get back to normal but you’re finding you’re stuck and nothing feels familiar. Your old way of coping isn’t working and things feel impossible. You feel off-balance.  It’s getting harder to keep up with your own life.

You’ve tried to accept how things are and push through this new normal but you’re feeling distant, discouraged, and worried you’re failing.  Maybe you’re even angry.

It looks so easy for everyone around you.  Now, you want to know where to go from here.

Your identity exists outside of being a parent. I want us to work together to create hope and positive changes. I work with women struggling with:

  • Being a new mom

  • Being a mom of multiples

  • Mourning a pregnancy loss or miscarriage

  • Struggling with infertility

Know that you don’t have to navigate these difficult issues alone.

At the moment, Kathryn is only taking on a limited number of new clients. If you would like to inquire about her availability or be added to her waitlist, please email her directly

Kathryn’s specialties & approach

As the maternal mental health specialist at the practice, I work with women struggling with:

  • Perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.

  • Postpartum anxiety disorders and postpartum obsessive compulsive disorder.

  • Postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression due to feelings of being physically and emotionally overwhelmed that last beyond a two- to three-week period and become worse or begin to interfere with everyday living.

I also have nearly 15 years of experience supporting women through life’s transitions.  These include:

  • Recovering from addiction.

  • Coping with anxiety and depression.

  • Dealing with loss.

  • Navigating women’s life changes.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Insight Oriented - Psychodynamic Therapy approaches to create a safe space. This way, you can say things out loud that you haven’t been able to say anywhere else.

Experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss is an overwhelming and isolating experience. Feelings of grief can be overwhelming, especially when others don’t understand your frustration and hopelessness. Even changes we planned for and looked forward to impact us.

If you’re struggling and ready to find your way through with a renewed sense of yourself, it is possible.

Together, we can work through whatever you’re experiencing. We can help you feel confident and connected back to yourself through building new skills and experiences. All you have to do is take the first step and reach out. We’ll figure out the rest together.
